• Artist will require access to water, power, wash station and a work area sheltered from wind, rain and sun. If there is a DJ, live band or music services onsite, please provide a space reserved for the Artist away from the loud speakers.
• With advanced notice from Client, Artist can provide table and chair if the location does not provide such for setup.
• With advanced notice from Client, Artist can provide own 10' x 10' shelter with walls.
• Regular setup includes lighting (UV LED light clamps, fairy lights and either 80W or 100W LED UV floodlights etc.), Service Signage, collapsible cube shelving (for sign display & lighting), 2' x 5' folding table, padded stool (for patrons or idle artist), and FDA compliant makeup-grade face/body art supplies (water-activated paints, body glitter, make-up mixer & sealer, water pitchers, paint brushes, cups/containers etc.)
•  Parking fees may apply to certain bookings, if no free parking is available on site - please let us know as soon as possible about the parking situation so the parking fees can be added to your booking fees beforehand. Lunarfits Creations reserves the right to invoice you for the parking fees after the event if there was no free parking available nearby..

• The hourly rate begins at $150 per hour.
  
  • Pricing includes: Painting Service/ Glitter Service, Set Up & Take Down, All Supplies, Insurance Coverage & Travel.
  • Artist will arrive to Event between 30-60 minutes prior to Service Start Time for Set Up.
  • Discounted hourly rates only apply to bookings equal to or over 2 hours and confirmed by successful deposit of the 50% Retainer Fee at least 10 business days prior to the Event Date.
• Minimum Hourly Bookings:
  • Private Birthday Events = 1 hour minimum
  • All other Events = 2 hours minimum
• Face Painting Services
  • An average of 20-25 people per hour can be painted with simplified designs.
    Please keep in mind when booking as additional charges will apply for extending service time.
  • Birthday Events may add Glitter Tattoos for an additional fee onto the total hourly booking.
    • This combo is for 1 Artist who will do both Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos.
    • Approximately 15 Painted Faces & 15 Glitter Tattoos can be completed per hour (or as many as time will allow up to 2 per person).
    • The Artist will start with Face Painting and, once everyone is done, will switch to Glitter Tattoos.
    • If fewer than the maximum amount of 15 children are attending, each guest will be allowed to receive as much Face Painting or Glitter Tattoos as time allows.
• Glitter Tattoo / Glitter Bar Services
  • An average of 25-30 people per hour can be glittered up!
    Please keep in mind when booking as additional charges will apply for extending service time.
• A Retainer Fee to reserve the booking is 50% of total amount, non-refundable and applied as credit towards total hourly rate.
  Remainder amount outstanding is due on the day of Event.
• Payment of Retainer indicates the acknowledgement these policies on this page and the agreement of the Client herein.
• Retainer is due 7 calendar days prior to event or the Client runs risk of losing date.
• Once the required Retainer is fully transferred / successfully deposited, the Artist will contact / confirm with the Client and reserve the date.
• Any outstanding amounts unpaid over 30 days past the Event Date is subject to 10% interest per month overdue.

• Rescheduling, postponing or cancelling the contracted day or time period requires 48 hours' notice.
  • Artist will work together to accommodate an alternate date/time although client may not receive the first alternate choice based on the Artist's prior commitments.
  • Events that are cancelled or rescheduled are not eligible to refund deposits nor any balance paid.
  • If Event is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice given, then 80% of contracted booking at hourly rate will be due, especially if we have secured and prepaid contractors to lock in the Event.
• If a rescheduled date is necessary, the new date should be within 30 days of the original event date.
• ONLY in the unlikely event where Artist be unable to perform or find such a replacement, the Retainer and any amounts paid by the Client under these policies, will be refunded, with the exception of any special supplies purchased for the Client, at the Client's request, in which case the cost of the special items purchased will be deducted from the amount refunded and the specialty items will be available for the Client to pick up from Artist.

• Edmonton and surrounding area
  (Beaumont, Leduc, Morinville, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, St. Albert, Stony Plain etc.)
• Any location greater than 100 km / 1 hour travel time (driving from Edmonton according to Google Maps) will be subject to a small travel fee.
• If your location is not listed above, please contact for an exact quote with travel fee .

• Lunarfits Creations carries coverage for $2,000,000.00 in commercial liability insurance, where a copy of the Insurance Certificate may be provided upon request.
• The water-activated Face / Body Paints, Glitter and alcohol-based sealant used have been designed for professional use and comply with all Alberta Health Services regulations
  [As with any cosmetics, some people may develop sensitivity to one of the ingredients. Many children are allergic to a wide range of common products. Artist(s) is/are not responsible for any such reactions...]
  People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of event.

• It is the client’s responsibility to be aware of ingredients that they may be sensitive to and ask or an ingredient list if desired.

• If you have any concerns regarding you or your child’s reaction to face paints, please discuss with the artist BEFORE you or your child is painted. (Ask for a patch test ½ hour in advance, or we will paint a small design on the hand.)

• Artist(s) reserve the right to refuse service to who, in the opinion of the Artist, appears to be suffering from: Cold or Flu symptoms; Cold Sores; Conjunctivitis / Pink Eye; any infectious skin complaint; open wounds or similar.
• Face paint is not recommended for children under 3 years old.
  For insurance purposes, we can only face paint on children 3 years and above.
  Small designs on hand, arm or leg can be offered to younger children.

• If a child is reluctant to have his or her face painted, we cannot comply with the wishes of the parent or caretaker over the desire of the child.

• Young children do not always understand face painting – someone they are not familiar with is doing something to them that they cannot see so a small design on the hand may be more enjoyable for them. They can see what is being done, feel in control of the situation, and can look at it and enjoy for the rest of the day.

• Artist(s) will not paint subject matter that he or she deems offensive or disturbing.

• Artist(s) reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who is abusive, violent or intoxicated. Any concerning behaviour may result in refusal of service.

• At public or private events, Artist(s) will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose or any place the Artist does not feel comfortable painting.

• Please ensure there is a responsible parent or adult on site to supervise the children - kids activities are fun and engaging but Lunarfits Creations does not take responsibility for the supervision of the children at the party.

1. LUNARFITS CREATIONS RIGHTS TO PICTURE USE
   Lunarfits Creations reserves the right to use any digital or hard copy picture taken from events for promotional, online or social media platforms. By having your picture taken you agree to these terms and conditions. Please inform us if you do NOT want them to be used in this way. Pictures may also be sent to the event organizer for their use. We do not control what they do, please contact them if you have any concerns.
2. COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
   If you elect to book services online, you will be prompted to enter your information as pertains to event location and payment etc. Lunarfits Creations does not store this information, but relies on the security of each online service.
3. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
   The personal information collected from the above mentioned software is used only to connect to online service(s) and to carry out the transaction(s) you have requested or authorized. If you choose to share your email address with Lunarfits Creations, it will only be used for communication or payment transactions with Lunarfits Creations. It will not be shared with any other entity.
4. CONTROL OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
   Except as described in this statement, personal information you provide in the software will not be shared outside of Lunarfits Creations except for the purpose of communication, connecting and using online services. Please be aware that this privacy statement and any choices you make in the software will not necessarily apply to personal information you may have provided to Lunarfits Creations in the context of other, separately operated, Lunarfits Creations products or services.

   You may remove any cookies from your browser by choosing to log out and clearing your internet cache.

• "For Fun, Not Forever."
  The life expectancy of a painted face depends on the weather, and the activity level of the wearer (i.e. exercise, touching face etc.). Take care because the quality is guaranteed only upon the initial leave of the chair.
• Face & Body paints are temporary and applied with make-up products.
• A matte make-up setting spray may be used by Artist to help the artwork last longer. Should the artwork get wet after that point, gently pat dry and it shouldn't smear.
• To REMOVE face & body paint: Use soap and water to scrubor make up remover. Keep in mind that darker face paints will linger and need more attention for removal.
• CLOTHING that has been in contact with face paint should be COLD soaked overnight with an oxygen activated stain remover before washing normally.

• "For Fun, Not Forever."
• Glitter tattoos may last 3-5 days depending on skin type & maintenance. 
• The glitter tattoo may become weak when subjected to prolonged time in water (swimming or bath) so after such activities only pay dry the area (do not scrub or scratch because friction shortens the lifespan of tattoo).
• To make the glitter tattoo last longer, do not apply alcohol, oil or lotion in the area of your tattoo.
• To REMOVE glitter tattoo: Simply use alcohol swabs. You can also use lotion or any oil based product. Let it soak for 10 minutes before you scrub and remove.
